Welcome to The Ridings at Stoned Goat Farm. We are dedicated to producing confident and knowledgeable riders of hunt seat. We provide a fun and trusting environment with knowledgeable instructors and safe horses/ponies. Whether it's showing or pleasure riding, we're able to accommodate any level of rider from beginner level riders to the more advanced competitive level riders. 

Our goal is to work with each of our students at his/her own pace to develop keen horsemanship skills while on the ground and while mounted in an engaging and fun atmosphere. Our students learn responsibility and respect for not only the horses, but themselves and fellow riders as well. These life skills of respect and responsibility are easily carried through aspects of every day life making riding a unique and rewarding sport.

Here at The Ridings, we encourage our riders to take up on other opportunities to enrich their talents with clinics, competitions, shows, fund raisers and other events that help our riders to increase their skills and knowledge. We offer discounted lesson rates to all of our students who also board with us.

We teach in a private, semi-private and group setting, scheduled by appointment only. All riders with previous experience are required to take a private assessment to determine skills and riding level prior to joining lessons in a group setting. Minimum age requirement for group lessons is 6 years old. Riders must meet minimum skill requirements of basic principles of riding prior to participating in a group lesson. Having both an outdoor and indoor arena, our lessons are not affected by the weather and continue year-round. We have weekend and weekday lessons and even offer some evening lessons as well!

Combined with years of instructing hunters, jumpers and equitation along with experience in horse training, our instructors have a plethora of knowledge and skill sets that they enjoy passing down to eager and willing riders. Our instructors are also available as coaches during shows and events. We are committed to seeing our riders grow and achieve their riding goals, no matter what they are striving for.
